We follow the topography of the site to our design. It means all of our line and shape is from the contour line. We get close to the ground look up or approach something sideways to discover an entirely new view. Locating the requirement function according to their connection with the site. Also creating appropriate circulations to connect all function together. In the proses of design, we preserve all of the plants in the site and also added the new plant to improve our design.

     To sum up, UPM’s linear park project has been designed to evoke emotion, catch the attention of passers and users and renew its aesthetic value by the aim of preserving the area and creating lively area. The whole concept was based on land topography and inspired by the natural value of the site. The gathering area help students, staffs and lecturers join together in an enjoyable area with lots of softscapes and hardscapes. UPM’s symbolic sculpture shows the long and hard way of studying to achieve success.
